Our three pillars

Cultural engagement

NOVA Club of Italy is an unofficial initiative that has the very important cultural objective of promoting Italian people of excellence around the world, starting with those at NOVA but having them approach many others, so that they can grow professionally and personally. For this reason, through United Italian Societies, members will have the opportunity to interface not only with present and past students of this school, but with all the other fellow Italians studying at top foreign universities (eg. Harvard, Stanford, Oxford, LSE etc).

Networking

Our goal is to foster strong connections between current, past and future members through events and networking opportunities, harnessing the collective experience of Mentors, Club of Italy members worldwide and members themselves, which can help bring them into an exclusive and constructive environment. These connections will provide valuable support and guidance, while opening doors to new opportunities and fostering a sense of belonging to our vibrant community.

Mentoring

Our mission is to create a solid and active network that can support its members during their academic and professional journey. With the invaluable contribution of our Mentors (Nova alumni with more than 1 year of experience) we promote training events and 1to1 sessions to guide and inspire members towards their future career dreams.
Moreover, thanks to them, we will have the opportunity to enter directly into their companies with in-company visits, thus having the chance to see first-hand the realities in which they work.
In addition, you will have access to our external materials to prepare you for interviews and application processes in the best way possible (e.g. guide to investment banks, online tests, hireviews, certifications, CV and CL guidelines).

Having the opportunity to help young Italian students navigate the world of work, to start building a network, and to go beyond the mere university ‘task’, should be a duty (and a pleasure) for those who have already gone through it. The transition from the academic world to the world of work can be complicated, and this is where my role as a mentor can make a difference, helping young people to orient themselves and to better understand where and how to apply their skills.
